Raid
THE most important option in the game, here you will make the most money and get the booty.
First is the werewolf hunt, it has two fields.
The first is the specific hunt field:
Here you can enter the name of an enemy you would like to specificly attack, they might either have attacked you earlier, you have been asked to attack them or you got their name from the highscore page because you think they may have lots of money.
Next is the vampire/werewolf hunt:
Where you just choose if you want to search the 'normal' way which will try and find you anyone you can attack (even below your level) or if you choose to look only for 'equally strong or stronger' enemies to attack. This is dependant on level not skills!
Both these options cost 1 gold to use, if for some reason you do not get a result but a yellow writing telling you what went wrong the 1 gold will not be deducted, but it may happen that with the vampire/werewolfhunt you may not find a target!.
Here is what 'error' messages you can get:
This enemy has allready been attacked recently - exaclty what it means, I do not know how much time has to pass before that person can be attacked again.
You have pity on this enemy - do not know what triggers this but it happens when the victim is much weaker than you and you just got unlucky. Do not know what triggers this exactly or how long it takes until you can attack that person if its random for weaker enemies.
You find no enemy - again what it says, upgrade your charisma or just try again, its only one gold.
Now the question would be "Why should I fight?" and its a good question. If you win a fight you will gain about 10% of your enemies gold so if they have 1000 gold you will gain 100 for yourself, but remember that if you loose you also loose 10% of your gold, so my advise would be to only attack when you have little money left.
Another thing is that you can only attack every 15 minutes (5 minutes with premium)
Next is the most important aspect of bitefight, the manhunt:
Manhunts give you the booty that makes up the positions of the highscore. You choose how long you want to manhunt, from 10 minutes to the full time you have for that day. You normally have 2 hours every day (clock resets at 0:00 CET which is GMT+1) and 4 hours if you have premium.
Here it is extremely important to know that a 10 minute manhunt can give you the EXACT same outcome as a 2 hour manhunt. So its best to do 10 minute manhunts. You run the chance to run into a lantern with a 10 minute manhunt which will give you no booty for those 10 minutes but its still a better chance than doing longer manhunts (after 30 minutes or so at once you will not have the chance to hit a lantern anymore but its not worth the safety) all top players do 10 minute manhunts for the top number hours they have each night.
It will also tell you how many minutes you have allready done this day/night so you know how much you have left.
Manhunts cost you 10 gold so be sure you dont spend it all on skills or other things so you allways have at least 10 gold left. These icons link to social bookmarking sites where readers can share and discover new web pages.
